This Christmas season I’m excited to be a part of the Homemade Ornament Exchange Link Party with 50 other bloggers. If you need inspiration for an ornament, make sure to visit the ornament exchange. I created a Sparkly Merry & Bright Christmas Ornament for Roseann from This Autoimmune Life .

Roseann’s tree is beautiful with traditional Christmas colors of red and white. When I saw it, I thought it looked elegant and merry and bright. This was my inspiration for her ornament. I wish Roseann and her family (and all of you) a Christmas that is merry and bright. So it was perfect for the ornament exchange.

Here is Roseann’s Pretty Tree!

Make sure you visit the Christmas Ornament Exchange Link Party to see all the amazing homemade ornaments. I’ve seen a quite a few that I want to create now and add to my tree.

Let’s Create a Sparkly Merry & Bright Christmas Ornament

Supplies

Glass Disc Ornament
Glitter Vinyl
Green Vinyl
Transfer Paper
Cricut Maker

To get started in Cricut Design Space™ using my Cricut Access Premium I created the Merry & Bright design.

Then using my Cricut Maker, I cut the Merry & Bright in red glitter vinyl and the snowflakes in green Oracal 651 vinyl . Here’s a close up of the pretty glitter vinyl.

The disc ornaments still have a slight curve to them so add the pieces one at a time using the Transfer Paper .

Next add on the and sign and then bright.

The sparkle and glitter shine of this ornament adds such a pretty touch. It’s going to look beautiful and shiny on her tree (I think I have to make myself one too).

Don’t forget the pretty ribbon to hang it on the tree. I wasn’t sure what kind of ribbon I was looking for, but as soon as I saw the light bulbs I knew that was the ribbon.

This sparkly merry & bright Christmas ornament will shine and sparkle for many years to come as you celebrate this special season with your family.
