My kids are excited for Easter and what the bunny will bring! I’m not for all the chocolate and little junk that will end up eaten, never played with or thrown out. Every year I try to come up with fun creative ideas of things to put in the baskets. This is my go to list for 41 Easter Basket Ideas , but this year let’s think outside of the box (or basket). These are my 5 Creative Kids Easter Baskets with practical ideas.
Honestly some of the stuff in these baskets you are going to end up buying anyways. Kids outgrow items so fast or what they love changes (and the old stuff just isn’t cool anymore). This way you will save money by buying what your kids need and saving money from buying just “Easter Stuff.”

Spring Basket for Kids
Easter can be hard depending on if it’s early or late in spring and also where you live.
A spring basket would be great for rain boots or coat, umbrella, spring books, sweatshirt, hat, sunglasses or bubbles for fun outside. Buy one larger item and a few smaller ones or be creative and fill the umbrella or boots with more fun!

We have done the Insect Lore Deluxe Butterfly Garden with 2 Live Cups of Caterpillars & Feeding Kit for years with the kids and they love watching nature happen. My kids love their wagons. They love putting toys in them and pulling them around the yard. Plus walk to grandmas house is their favorite. My son has the red wagon and my daughter has the pink one. Fill the wagon with your child’s favorite things. Summer themed items to play with, stuffed animals, water bottle, hat, sunglasses balls or puzzles.
Summer Basket for Kids
After spring comes summer! Get the kids ready for summer with new swimwear, a towel, pool/beach accessories, toys, sunglasses, hats, and anything that says summer to your child. I know we go through a ton of bubbles and two swimsuits are always good.

STEM or Creative Play Basket for Kids
Now I know as parent, you are cringing because many parents don’t want to deal with the mess, but kids love this stuff. My kids love both of these, we try to do this a couple times a week or on the weekends for fun as a family. It’s so important for kids to have these opportunities to explore and play. Fill your child’s basket with basic stem supplies or creative play items.
